SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS AND INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH & THEORY (SMART)

Social media has transformed from a decentralized platform for content creation and sharing into a dynamic space for communication and interaction among individuals and communities. This evolution has captured the attention of scholars across multiple disciplines, including communication, management, computer science, and the social and behavioral sciences. As a result, growing theoretical and methodological interest has emerged around the study of social media.

This track invites researchers and practitioners to explore the latest advances in social media analytics and intelligence. It aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and examine how state-of-the-art research and practice can address key challenges and opportunities in the field.
